Just a few handwritten words, a beautiful illustration or photograph, and a stamp carrying it across towns, provinces, or even oceans. Long before social media notifications and instant messages, postcards were tiny windows into someone else's world—a way of saying, "I was thinking of you."
This July, we'd love to invite you to be part of that tradition.
You're Invited to Our Summer Postcard Exchange
The Enchanted Postmark Summer Postcard Exchange is a community event created for anyone who loves handwritten mail, beautiful stationery, and meaningful connection.
Whether you're an experienced postcard collector or you've never sent one before, this exchange is a welcoming way to meet another mail enthusiast through a simple act of kindness.
Participants will be randomly matched with another person and will send one postcard to one partner.
That's it.
No expensive gifts. No elaborate packages. Just one postcard, one thoughtful message, and the excitement of finding something unexpected in your mailbox.
How the Exchange Works
Participating is easy:
Sign up before July 15, 2026.
We'll randomly match you with another participant.
You'll receive your partner's mailing information shortly after registrations close through your email.
Choose a postcard you'd love to send.
Write a friendly message on the back.
Mail your postcard by July 25, 2026.
Participants should be open to sending mail internationally, giving everyone the chance to discover a new place and connect with someone they might never have met otherwise.
What Kind of Postcard Should You Send?
There isn't a right or wrong choice.
Perhaps it's a postcard from your hometown, a favourite travel destination, or a local artist. Maybe it's a vintage illustration, a beautiful bird, colourful flowers, or a landscape that reminds you of home.
The postcard itself is only part of the gift.
Your handwritten words are what make it memorable.
Share something about where you live, recommend your favourite local café, describe your favourite season, or simply wish your partner a wonderful day. Even a few heartfelt sentences can make someone's mailbox feel a little more magical.
