There is something wonderfully cheerful about a Chickadee. Even on the chilliest November mornings, these tiny birds can be found flitting between branches, calling to one another, and bringing a little life to the quiet landscape. Small but full of personality, they remind us that sometimes the littlest things leave the loveliest impressions.

Inspired by November's friendly Chickadee, this month's Enchanted Postmark Mail Swap is all about sharing little notes of kindness through the post. Perhaps it's a thoughtful word from a stranger, a handwritten note arriving on an ordinary afternoon, or a tiny paper treasure tucked inside an envelope. These simple gestures have a way of making the world feel a little warmer and more connected.

For November, we're inviting you to send a little kindness to someone you've never met, and perhaps discover a new friendship along the way.

What You'll Send

Each participant will be randomly matched with one partner.

You're invited to send:

• ✉️ One handwritten letter or card filled with a little kindness, encouragement, or a friendly hello.

• 💌 An optional flat paper surprise, such as a bookmark, postcard, sticker, small illustration, or piece of pretty stationery.

Need a little inspiration? Consider sharing:

• Something kind someone once did for you that you've never forgotten.

• A few words of encouragement for someone having an ordinary or difficult day.

• A favourite quote, poem, or thought that always brings you comfort.

• A little about yourself, your favourite pastimes, or what makes you smile.

• A small tradition or ritual that makes the colder months feel cozy.

• A story about an unexpected friendship or a meaningful connection.

• A little reminder of something beautiful or hopeful in the world.

You don't need to write anything elaborate or deeply personal. Sometimes a simple hello, a thoughtful story, or a few friendly words are more than enough. The idea is to create a little envelope of kindness that reminds someone, somewhere, that even the smallest gestures can make a difference.
